It’s been more then a month since I have blogged, sent out the newsletter, the works!

Sorry. It’s not what I wanted but these are my excuses:

  1. SharePoint Designer Workflows, Workflows, Workflows!!! 🙂
  2. SharePoint Training.
  3. SharePoint 2010 Technical Beta and related technologies.

SharePoint Designer Workflow

Ok, to elaborate on the first point – I have been working with a client for last 3-4 weeks designing and developing a very very complex workflow solution. Why 3-4 weeks you would think? Well, every week the scope changed just after I would have completed my presentation to them!

What that meant for both of us? Back to the drawing board, re do the Visio diagram, dummy screenshots and on approval, start from ground zero in SharePoint Designer! I have enjoyed this challenge and today it’s been signed off for production.

I have been taking notes and will actually share the complete workflow process which will span across couple of series. I promise, you will be blown away with the work involved in this workflow! Stay tuned.

SharePoint Training

In between SharePoint Designer Workflows, I have been delivering free SharePoint training to different businesses. It’s two hour rapid fire sessions, getting end users started with SharePoint. It’s about getting them to use SharePoint – increasing the adoptability! Great fun, enjoy the questions that come from the left field at times 😉

If you are looking for SharePoint training – you know how to contact me. 🙂

SharePoint 2010

I am not a MVP, but under a special program sponsored by the InfoPath Team, I have access to the beta bits of SharePoint 2010. That’s all I can at this stage, since I have signed a NDA with Microsoft and hence you won’t read much here except for what has been disclosed publicly.

But you will – come this Oct 19, 2009 when SharePoint 2010 beta bits will be show cased in Las Vegas at the SharePoint Conference 2009. I am so looking forward to it. Yes I am going to be there and you will read a lot more about SharePoint 2010 and related technologies here on this blog! Stay tuned.
